Watch the video and then write what happened through the eyes of a giraffe. Eg.. We were let out of our pens and we slowly followed our friends.. or I woke up and I heard my cage open so I poked my head out and I saw...
One day I was just sleeping in my cage when I woke up and realized my cage was open so I sneaked out and told my friends to wake up. I led them out to the swimming pool and, luckily there were two high diving boards. one of my friends lowered themselves down to the highest diving board and we lined up, ready to dive. We got bored of just one high diving board, so one of my other friends offered to lower themselves down to the lower board and we started diving on that one, too. Then it was time to go back to the cage, because we could hear our owner coming to check if we were O.K. Then we had to go to have a sleep.
Yay, its competition day. The Giraffes were really excited because they were going to a diving competition. The big horse float came to pick them up. They had to climb 10 lots of stairs. It was very high, they were nervous. The 1st 1 jumped in and did a flip, she was very good. Then we all had a turn. It was fun. After an hour they started to get tired so they thaught they had better go back home. When they got home they all fell asleep and dreamt about all there diving.
Our cages were open so why not go out we thought and sneak around. We were not scared so we thought lets climb the stairs to the diving bored where giraffes were hanging from the roof so we could do flips off there heads. Later we were bored and thirsty so we stopped and had a drink but then we heard the owner coming to see what was going on so we rushed back to our cages before he could see us.
Our cages were open wide so why not I go out with my friends and dive in the swimming pool. So we all ran up the stairs. Someone offered to use its neck to make the other spin like a ballerina. I did a Rolly-Polly while doing the splits and then dive head first straight into the swimming pool. My other friends were so bored because they wanted to have two diving boards or shall I say diving necks. So since I was the one who lead my friends to the pool I would offer to do it but since I was scared I would just choose my older sister. We had so much fun that we didn't want leave I did lots of summersaults. All of us were tired so we drank some water we didn't have much time because someone was coming with our breakfast so we quickly came back to our cage a pretend we were all asleep. We actually fell asleep. The END!!!!
I heard my friends get out of the cages, my cage was wide open so I went out. Then we all walked to the highest diving board and jumped off doing different tricks. It was so much fun when did it again from a lower diving board. We heard someone coming so we ran off back to our cages and pretended to be asleep.
The keeper was standing by the door. Then he walk a way and didn't no he drop his keys. Then the giraffes grab his keys and opened the cage and went t the diving board. one did 10 back flips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cage door is open lets go and do sum back flips and dives that took away there breath so they hade a drink then they could hear there keeper so they ran back to there cages.
our cage doors where open freedom at last we thought. ( well until our keeper came back. ) we galloped up the ramp one of us lowered ourselves down. it was my turn first I dived straight in the water the water was just the right temperature because we swam a little we went again. we lowered another giraffe by the lower diving board. next two of us did the same style jump. one on the lower diving board and the other on the top. we lined up along the edge and bowed our heads. we heard are keeper so we ran back.
I seen that my cage door is open so I say to the other Giraffes can we go out? they say yes! So we go and dive in the pool it was fun until our keeper came and we ran as fast as we can so we don't get caught back into our cage and fell asleep.

My cage was open so I told my friends to come out. While my friends were walking one of my friends poke his tounge through a security camera. I saw a swimming pool and I jumped in the pool and my best friend was helping everyone to do filps.
Our cage was open, we were very hot so we all went to the pool and done some flips. We had so much fun on the big one, some of us went on the second highest ne.Then we were all thirsty so we had a drink. we heard our owner coming to check on us so we ran back to the cage before the owner got there.
